Cancellation Policy

We are a very busy, high-end portrait studio with a limited number of appointments available, so that we can be sure to take special care of each client and keep creating custom, stunning pieces of art for their homes.   

Upon scheduling, J. Oates requires a fully-refundable $250 reservation fee so that we can set aside our studio and staff just for your family, and to ensure your commitment to the appointment.   The entire fee will come back to you when you arrive at your appointment.

Rescheduling with less than two weeks notice will result in a loss of the reservation fee.   With at least 2 weeks’ notice on any rescheduling you may need, reservation fees are applied to the new appointment and will be refunded on the day of the appointment.   The reservation fee is not refundable for permanently cancelled appointments.
